WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!

My soon to be 18-year-old son Zachary was just named FIELD COMMANDER for the PARKERSBURG SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL PATRIOT MARCHING BAND!!!!

Zach's been playing his trombone since 5th grade. He started marching in 9th grade. This has been his dream since he was 14! He plans on going onto college as a music major - music is his whole life!

This is the high school musical equivalent of being named Captain of the football team. I'm so proud of him and can't wait to see him out in front of the band this fall - leading them down Market Street in parades, and out onto the field at football games.

Not to mention the fact that it's gonna look great on his high school transcript!

I'm busting my buttons....... :D:D
