Oklai125 I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and hubby. Plz don't forget about me when he goes for his interview. Come back and update your review so that way we can prepare for the interview as well. My husband interviews well but I want him to be fully prepared so that way he can come home soon. Its been far to long, maybe not as long as you but everyone has a certain tolerance level and I am about at mine. lol Keep us in pray! We are right behind you.

We have already had a interview at the Embassy. Seemed to be pretty cut and dried. Being prepared with all the documents really helped everything.

- Passport

- Photos-

- Police Certificate

- I-134

- Supporting docs for the I-134 like the last years IRS transcript (last three years if you feel more secure)

- Take photos (they never asked for any). There were tons put in the initial I-129f packet

- Chat logs and print outs of calls...(they asked for all our chat logs...all eight months of them...bascially it was a sampling of the chats.

Questions: There were about 15 in all

Thanks so much everyone. Although it is an exciting time, it is also a stressful one so your support means a lot! Fingers crossed that our embassy report will be a positive one!

David, what kinds of questions did they ask?

Wow they actually asked for the chat logs? Tell me how much should I send my hubby ie. ever day of every month since we have been in a relationship up to marriage and beyond? I am going through all of our Whatsapp, FBK, Boss Revolution call logs and I am becoming overwhelmed at how many. I only want to send enough to show continued communication not our whole life. Secondly did you post a review of the questions? Thank you for sharing so far.

I made copies of random days for each month. (I took five days per month and stapled them together) - AFTER filing of the I-129f. (they should have had yours before the filling already).

They asked for all of them..

What do you mean "they should have had yours before the filing already?" Do you mean I should have submitted them? We filed an I-130 but did not submit any chats convos. Will supply at interview.

I'm printing about 2-3 pages of call logs per month (for the last 6 months only since that's what Skype has), our Facebook friendship, pictures, the listing of email records we have from Gmail, and then a few select emails that aren't too personal, but will show our relationship. We also have a letter from my dad, proof that I'm his social security beneficiary, money transfer logs, and airline receipts to prove that I visited him twice. I sent in other call logs, emails, pictures, receipts, rental lease etc etc with our I-130 so I'm focusing on the stuff from after that was sent. My husband will also bring his copy of the I-130 packet, copies of financial information, and other forms just in case.

Hopefully we will be over-prepared, but better safe than sorry! This is indeed overwhelming, but soon we will all be able to move on!

Those seem fine. I think what they look for is a genuine (CARING) relationship on both ends not just yours as the US Citizen. People from abroad want to come here and they use any means even 'love'..so the Embassy needs to be careful.

The issue I found out was just the fiance knowing where all the documents are and giving the right ones. Thats the biggie too...best for him to have things organized in a fashion with tabs with a key for each set of documents eg 1-131, Police Certificate(s), photos, Confirmation of DS-160 print out page, etc etc...

By the way, those are asked by the Kenyan intake woman together with the passport, photos so that the CO has all that information. They are very efficient for bureaucrats

What is the ds-160? Is that for a K-1 petition?

How did we meet?

When did we first meet in person?

What does your fiance do??

Are you married? Have you been married before?

Does your fiance have any other kids?

It was only a few minutes....basically it was very easy compared to the rest of the process. As nervous as we were there is almost nothing to be nervous about if you are well prepared.

These were the same questions asked of us. No photos were asked except the chat logs.

Of course, they asked about Police Certificate, Birth Certificate and Affidavit of Support.(Original)

Also, how many times did you two meet? How long did you see each other each time (approximate).
