Republicans are no more reflected by Rush Limbaugh than Democrats are by Michael Moore, I would argue. Both are largely made up of people who are so close in the middle they can reach out and touch the other.

Rush is not Supporting Mccain.

Rush has millions that tune into his show daily... how many times has McCain been on his show?

Has McCain even been invited??? Nope.

McCain is using this election and John McCain to damage "The One".

The poll numbers indicate, even with every thing against McCain (and Republicans) Barak is barely hanging on to a 3-4 point lead.

Rush is a Conservative, why would any true conservative want McCain in the whitehouse, it will further take the GOP off track.

That makes no sense at all. Being a conservative what the heck are Rush's options other than McCain?

With the election down to a day-count...... these "last minute endorsements" are helpful to the

perceived winner but can anyone claim they are sincere?

If Powell was any kind of man he would have got on-board when Barak was really in need of backers. (like when Kennedy did).

This is little more than Powell jumping in front of a parade.

Who wants to bet in these Heart 2 heart conversation these two have had.... Powell has angled himself into a job.

Both will gain from this, Barak who has almost no experience will need a seasoned face for the cameras..... and Powell, he needs to redeem his lack-luster time spent in the Bush circle.

As best as I can see, his only option is to "hope" McCain looses, the Dems take control the country gets a sour taste of them and a new GOP party is born.

Say it can't happen?

Ask Clinton when he lost both the house and senate after 2 years in office.

A McCain presidency would be a disaster for the conservative wing, just look what Bush has done. (Rush is partly to blame by giving him a pass too much of the time).
