Hi all we filed on October 18th and our petition was immediately transferred from VSC to CSC. They received it at CSC on the 27th of Oct. I just received my wife's approval notice yesterday.

I guess now that all the hoopla of the elections are over as well as major holidays they are back to work full steam.

I hope you all get speedy approvals too.

I forgot I added to this post before, but yes our file was transferred from VSC to CSC Dec 22 and got approved 21 days later. I'm now almost through with NVC and praying for a timely interview date :) People who got transferred to CALI be ready for a speedy approval. If you are going with CR1 then you should get your cival documents in order. Namely, Original marriage certificate, Original birth cert for benificiary, Police Clearance, and also photocopies of the passport with biographic page. Also having the beneficiary fill out the DS 3032 and IV 230 as best they can, at least sign and mail it to you if you will be their agent, will help speed the process through if you are doing it yourself through NVC. Good luck All, it's going to happen sooner than you think, be ready!!!

Peace,

Mariah

Hello all,

I'm new to this whole site but god I wish I'd found this place sooner. I've been visiting my hubby for the past couple months so my parents have been giving me info on whether letters arrive or what not. Even though I sent my I130 at the end of September it was first touched in October so I guess I'll consider myself an October filer. My case was just recently approved (January 20th,2009) and I got the fee for the AOS and the DS3032 which I paid for. Now I'm waiting for my hubby to get home from work so I can make him sign the DS3032 so I can email it to my parents on Saturday so they can mail it (in addition to me emailing it to NVC). Everything is happening so fast and it's annoying cause I won't be back in the US for another 2 weeks. I hope my dad can get my tax transcripts while I'm gone, otherwise I'll be waiting even longer.

Good luck to everyone!

Well we have a NOA1 for I 130 dated 22nd October 2008. Going by the way things are we are looking for an approval approx May 22nd. I just cannot see Vermont being any quicker than that. Of course there is also the possibility of a transfer to California, though I doubt it now that we are buried within the depths of Vermont.

We had to send in a correction to a mistake we made on our I 130, which I am posting tomorrow. Just hope that it arrives and gets placed in our file safely. Apart from that we are in the waiting game like thousands of others.

Best wishes to all and may you all be with your loved ones soon.

Arthur and Roberta
