The thunderboomers have moved in for the night, and I probably shouldn't be on the computer.... but...

:huh::hehe::blush:

Lightning like crazy and I can, for the first time all day, feel a COOL breeze coming in the open windows..it's still stifling in here at 1:30am!!!! CAn't wait..just hope it doesn't get too bad that I have to close the windows due to the rain!!! :)

~~a very happy, gradually getting cooled down, girl. :)

Glad to hear you are getting some relief from the heat :D I am waiting for it to warm up here....C'mon England!!!! :lol:

Like wise Welsh, I am so fed up of feeling cold, I would give anything to just feel some of that heat if only for a day Michelle :thumbs:

We had some more "thunderboomers" last night around 6-8 pm, but the overnight it was quiet. More thunderstorms likely today. But it's good, we needed the rain :yes:

We were under a flash flood warning again , but not much happened here. Nice to see the creeks filling up.

it has been brutal in the midwest the last few days. my pops warned me the other day it was coming (lives in Idaho). only a couple more days of this.

of course, I live in a house built in the 1920s and work in a converted warehouse building that was built in the 1930s. So with no central air at home (threw an a/c unit in a window that just barely drops the temps) and just enough air moving through the office to trick your brain into thinking you are not suffocating in stifling rebreathed air, I am about to go crazy. 95 in May is not a good thing.

Growing up in Florida, with central a/c common everywhere, I forget that in a lot of states it's not that common. Must really be yucky!! Even though Florida is so hot for so long, we are nice and cool inside every place we go.

It is so freaking hot here in Philly-it was 92 yesterday the humidity is awful.

I woud rather be in Dublin now where it is raining & a little chilly(not so much for the weather, but so I could be with my love). I am NOT a fan of the heat :angry:
