They've had our case for 76 days and no touches, no nothing! I know it's not right of me to complain as many people here have been waiting for a LONG time. But man..... it'd be nice to get that NOA2, or a touch, or something!!!

Dave and I are going to see each other in less than 2 weeks, which is wonderful!!! But still, this waiting game is starting to freak me out.

I come here everyday and see so many topics that I'd like to reply to.... but I'm not strong enough to help other people right now.... I'm sorry!

I'm praying for everyone though... I really am!

Sorry to hear you're feeling down. :( At least, like you said, you'll get to see one another soon..and that's huge!!! :) :) :) ...but I realize a somewhat small thing when you're hoping for some news that will bring you together forever!! Not much any of us here can do but feel your pain and tell you that it will be over before you know it. Certainly seems like a long long time while you're going through it, (that's the great thing about VJ..we all 'get' that!!) but in the scheme of things..it's really not. Hard tothink at the time tho...hang in there girl..thinking of you!! (F) (F) (F) M.

Michelle, I've been wanting to message you and support you because you need it too... but I haven't been strong enough to do it. But then you come here and take your time to try to make me feel better... there are no words to describe how much I appreciate it!! You're special.

Hang in there Marcella... at some point the nightmare does end (I hope)!!!

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

I-751 posted on 6th August 2009

Received on 7th August 2009 in VT

Sorry to hear you're having a bad time right now, Marcella. I went through Nebraska for my K1-visa, too. So I know how long it takes. But you'll hear from them soon, I'm sure. And you even have your SO coming over in two weeks to take your mind off of it.

The time will pass faster than you realise. :)

Hi,

I have been there myself...

I have forced myself to get a second wind, and understand that although this sucks, and is just unbearable on some days-it will be over one day too.

I focus on all of the things I plan on doing with my husband when he comes home, and while I am thinking of the future, I keep busy in the present. I do whatever I can to keep myself as busy as possible, even if it means working 7 days a week.

Don't lose hope, spend time with your friends, and prepare for the great future that awaits.

It's going to be OK ((((HUG))))
