Ah that's good to know. Thanks. I check online quite regularly (still no touches) and wondering what would happen first. Now I just need to make sure USCIS doesn't get sent to my spam filter.

So nothing new and exciting has happened since the bunch of emailed approval notices this morning right? That got me so hyped up! I'm hoping we will get some more good news this afternoon! For the first time in my life since I was in middle school and only saw my "boyfriend" during the week I am actually dreading the weekend...because that means no new approvals :crying:

Have you all seen the Filipina who is has two bf's from the US petitioning her? Grrrr that makes me so  because it's people like her that make this process so difficult!!!!!

Wow, it's amazing some people think they can actually get away with stuff like that. And then post it in a public forum! I agreed with your post tenfold.

Duplicity is a fun game but it certainly burns when you get caught. I think it's a stage, somewhere around adolescence. My students engage in it on a daily basis. They love to trick each other, and though they are not even in high school yet they are beginning to use their sexuality as one of the tools. They lie to teachers probably half the time. Sometimes they do not even need to lie but do so out of sport. Interestingly enough, most do respect authority but it must be true. Many teachers in my district fail because they lack true authority.

When I read several posts throughout the internet universe, there seem to be the same dynamics in play. Lies, cheats, and viciousness abound. Fortunately we find islands of threads, such as our own that support others, play fair, etc. Such is the world.

I see Oct. 7th approvals and I begin thinking about how mine is only about 2 weeks after that date. I am getting excited, even if the wait ends up being several more weeks. This has been a fun journey because there waaay more than a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow. Wow, being apart from my fiancee has made me appreciate her much deeper.

As a teacher myself I can appreciate your comments from above. I do teach high school and it certainly does not get any better. Even other students notice and often times say something. For example, there is a boy and girl in one of my classes who flirt all the time, but they each have their own "SO" if you will. They were flirting today and touching each other's arms, hands, etc. and another girl said "Elise, don't you have a bf and Brian don't you have a gf? Do they know how you act when they're not around?" lol you should have seen the look on their faces - they seemed so pitiful haha.

Also, it's so sweet that you say that your fiance is "waaay more than a pot of gold." If every person treated their SO with such love and respect there would not be a need for divorce laws!

Hoping for more October approvals guys!!!!!

Congratulations to everyone that rec'd their NOA2 recently!!!! Its so great to see movement and that the process may be speeding up a little for us. I think I'm obsessed with Igor's List now! I was so psyched to see an October 6th approval since my NOA1 date was Oct. 8th. Whooooo
