I find so many drivers are jacka$$es. People are the same way when someone is trying to make a left hand turn or looking for a parking space in a lot.

 I know especially now that the holidays are coming, people are going to be crazier.

2 minutes..... yeah, I would have gotten pissy too. If I hit a drive-thru, I'm usually running late or close to it as it is. Being behind someone counting out each penny and digging in her ashtray for change for 2 minutes would raise my BP 20 or 30, I'm thinkin'. Especially since I'm the sort who HATES holding other people up. I have my money ready before I even order. I order quickly and drive to the window. Pay quickly and move on. I NEVER pay with correct change in the drive-thru. Takes too long.

I'm weird like that. I hate people, but I hate inconveniencing them, too.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

it says you have to go to the drivethru already with the money, not get to the cashier and then look for the coins..

i also don't like to wait on a drivethru

Two minutes? No wonder he was beeping his horn. It is always the inconsiderate people that have no clue how inconsiderate they are. Clueless.

I hope by 2 minutes you meant 10 seconds, cause otherwise that was inconsiderate. I swear I almost went crazy on people today! I was trying to pull out of a parking lot and some stupid woman pulled out and parked on the right hand side of the road to get out. Don't know what that was about. Then a bunch of cars all pulled in, so I'm stuck till they move. However the 1st car in line is ALSO an idiot and just sits there waiting for me to go or something stupid. Ummm, I CAN'T since both you idiots are blocking the road... Plus I was STARVING. Not a good combo.

I was in a long drive-thru line once, left a space for a parked car to back up and pull out since they would have been blocked in otherwise. I didn't slow anyone down -- line wasn't moving anyway. Some gorilla pulled around me, leaned out the window, and screamed that he knew I couldn't be that stupid. I don't think it was the driving though. I think it was the Obama bumper sticker. ;)

I wouldn't honk in the drive-thru unless the person in front of me was being an idiot.

However, the Bay Area certainly is notable for the jerks on the road. One can practically feel the ooze of stress coming from the drivers, and sadly sh!tty behavior spreads faster than the plague. It's why when given the chance, I take public transportation. No worries, and hell, sometimes a few beers make it's way onto the train. Used to be every TGIF, even though technically there was no food or drink, especially alcoholic, on a publicly funded bus/train. Not really enforced, in fact, would joke with the Caltrain employees here and there.

I did learn from my mother, however, how wonderful it is to be on the wrong side of the fast food order. She treats those people like garbage. It only takes seeing their expression and hers to see the ####### she gets doing tech support/liaison/customer service work gets passed down to people identified as lesser, or there to take your order #######. I can only wonder how many burgers she's had spit on.

Then hurry the hell up next time. It's a drive through. People use it when they are in a hurry. Don't search for "correct change" - give the dumbass at the window a $20, collect your #######, and get out of the way.

If you have time to search for correct change, you have time to go inside and not take up space at the drive through.

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.

I lived in an apartment behind a McDonald's for two years. There was the occasional horn sounded by some jerk too lazy to get off his supersized azz and go inside. The "Welcome to McDonald's may I take your order" at the drivethru speaker repeated hundreds of times a day was intolerable.

The drivethru is a bad choice if there's already a sizable line. You don't get your food fast and you're inhaling somebody else's exhaust fumes- bon appettit! Then you go down the road you find out you didn't get what you ordered and you don't have the time to inspect the contents once the guy behind you sees you've gotten your food.

Here there's a sign telling people to have their order and payment ready before they get to the window. Two minutes is way too long. Ten cars in line doing the same, and that's a 20-minute wait. I can't imagine it really took that long though.
