OK, my fiance turned out to be married at the time I filed and the 129F was approved. I filed in March, she then got an annulment in July (backdated to June). She withheld this info until after we got the 129f approval this month. Of course, I must refile since she withheld this info since at the time of filing she was married and not eligible to be petittioned. Of course, the question of will I refile under these circumstances in a personal issue for me...

But either way, I need to cancel the k-1 now that they have sent the noa-2.

How do I go about doing this?? HOW DO I CANCEL THE K-1 After the 129f approval?

BTW This is the second time I have had this heppen, once in 2004 and now again. May have to forget love, but just in case I don't, since I now have two k-1's filed, have I reached my lifetime limit?

Been to phil 5 times this year to see her. Its been a loooooog trip back from Manila today..... wonderful place, and so perhap one day I can meet a wonderful person, but I am afraid I am k-1 maxed out even though I have never married or brought anyone over..... If I choose to can I refile for her now that we have honesty (sort of) on the table, or is that high risk since she clearly lied in the original application. A much more likely scenario, lets say I meet someone new in life, can I still do a k-1?

Email the Embassy in Manila indicating they'll be receiving a notarized letter from you, withdrawing the petition. Mention your fiancee's full name and the case number. Write a similar letter to the USCIS Service Center that adjudicated the petition originally.

At most, you'll need to provide a letter explaining why you would be filing another I-129F for a fiance, whether for this or any other woman. If you decide to pursue a relationship with the current beneficiary, you might consider marriage first and just going the CR1 route. No need for a waiver in that case.

Risk, is for you to evaluate as you are the one with the most complete information from which to do so.

Sounds like the next time you should have the lady get a CENOMAR from NSO. [Cert. OF No marriage]. Even if you refile with the same one. Who knows if she's being honest?

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Sounds like to me you need to stay away from Manila area. Many scammers around the Manila.

Go down to Mindanao area, Davao is about 1.5 hour flight from Manila.

Get a girl from the province.

Once you meet and if you like her go get a CENOMAR as mentioned above, Which is a great suggestion.

I dont think Mindanao area has nice filipinas.. Probably you need to live more years to discover that we a lot of great people.

Scammer is for someone who remain foolish or stupid even if they have seen the red flags already..

I dont think Mindanao area has the only place that has nice filipinas.. Probably you need to live in the Philippines longer to discover that we have a lot of great people.

Actually since you brag more people in Mindanao, I would say Luzon has also more great educated people..

The bottom line is No matter where she came from, you need to know her inside and out.. Not only by physical appearance.

How sure are you about this woman? Are you sure you want to pursue?

The annulment will make things very slow for your next visa application involving this person. It will certainly be held up in document verification and administrative review for a long time. She needs to make sure NSO is updated now, which will take time. I've heard that it can take years.

This is exactly what you should do.

I want to warn you, though, there is a chance the petition will not be cancelled. I know of people in the Jamaican forum who did this and the messages never go to where they needed to go. 2 people that I know of still went to their interview and go their visas. They came to the US. Never heard much of what happened after that. They are probably happily living here illegally.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

No such thing as a lifetime limit.... A waiver will need to be requested if you file for another fiance(e). Filing limitation does not apply to spousal visas.

YMMV

Offtopic, but it crossed my mind just now (as it often does when I read certain posts). Why does it seem, at least to me, that so many people actually actively seek for a spouse somewhere abroad? Quite a few times, I've read here that people keep filing for alien fiance/fiancees over and over again. Personally, if thinking only about the part where my fiance is from the US and myself from Croatia.. I would never choose him on purpose and have either side go through this just to be together in the end. Or, in other words, when I first met him, I was not looking for anyone, at all, let alone someone from far away. Things just happened.

Yes, ever since Al Gore invented the internet, traditional ways of courtship have been eroding. Ain't it wonderful.

I can tell you for a fact that Davao have nice filipinas. I married one and she is the best. That is not the only place to meet nice filipinas, but it is a great place to start.

and i am still not sure she really has an annullment since they usually take 8 months to a year and are expensive, yet your lady got one in a month, unless she started it along time ago and just didnt tell you and was hoping it would be final by when you filed. And then of course it wasnt.
