The above statement doesn't make sense to me. The NOA2 is issued by the Service Center. NVC enters the picture AFTER your NOA2.

Do you mean the NVC (national Visa Center) or the NSC (Nebraska Service Center)...

If you mean NVC then it looks like Nebraska took a while sending out the NOA2 which is indeed your approval. If you mean the NSC then someone seems to have lit a fire under some of the officers there because an approval in a week is pretty amazing !!

Did you ever receive an NOA1 from Nebraska and if so what was the date on that ??

LostInIllinois,

Actually, this is not NOA2. This is an e-mail telling you that you an NOA2 will soon be mailed to you.

NOA is I-797 or I-797C, headed Notice of Action - hence the acronym. It's a 'fancy' piece of paper, one that you will want to keep in a safe place (but not so safe that you forget where you put it), not an e-mail.

It would seem like VT is responding really quickly now to K-1's.

Maybe they are trying to clear the pipeline before the new laws take effect???

Not that I'm not happy for you, but it really makes me sick to see people going through Nebraska who are done in such a short time while others wait months and months for no good reason. This whole system stinks! FOUR DAYS!!!! Augh!!!!!
