Yay I just got an email from CRIS saying that my EAD card production has been ordered. Can't wait until I actually receive the card.

AOS (from F-1 Visa)

09-09-2008 - Package sent to Chicago lockbox via USPS Certified Mail

09-11-2008 - Package received at Chicago lockbox

09-15-2008 - NOA1's for I-765, I-130, I-131, and I-485

09-22-2008 - Received Biometric appointment (10/04/2008)

How do I get the CRIS emails? I set up the Portfolio but I don't get the coveted CRIS emails. Can you please tell me how to get these updates?

if CRIS doesn't like you from the first sight/touch..... of the keyboard of course, there is no way in he... wherever, you will get his attention ;) in other words no e-mails, coveted or not :)

there are plenty many people who have US Passport already and CRIS has never spoken to them....

friend of mine included.... just got her USC interview and no email.... and she (the friend) is a pretty girl... but apparently not to CRIS' liking...

I don't know if I'm more excited or if Alf is. ;) I think we scared the 9 year old. We were chatting, and I sat down in front of the computer. I noticed the email and grabbed Alf's hand and just said, "Ohhhhh... baby....?!?!?!" He said, "Huh? Ooooooooooooohhhhhhhhh my God... really?!?" LOL My son was just like what what what?!!? :D

I got my EAD in mail this week. it only took like a week since I recieved email notice. yay, but no yay; economy is bad==no job. how ironic is that!

08-30-2008 AOS Required doc sent to laywer via USPS /c Certified Mail

09-04-2008 Lawyer sent application to DHS (Woo!)

09-15-2008 Biometric appointment scheduled on 10/06/2008

10-06-2008 Biometric done!

11-07-2008 NOA for interview. AOS interview set Dec 9 2008

11-17-2008 EAD production ordered. Travel Doc approved

11-22-2008 Got APin mail

11-24-2008 EAD in mail!

11-24-2008 AOS interview prep and verification of evidence of shared life with my lawyer. Laywer gave me "the most documented marriadge of year award"

12-09-2008 AOS interview @ USCIS Seattle Office. IO thought I had way too much evidence for the time I've been married. Oh Dear.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I am so happy!!!!! Got the CRIS email today and my EAD card has been ordered and my case status has been updated on the I-765 which has changed to NOvember 26th.

Green Card expiry for 2/12/11

11/1/10 - Filed AR-11 online and I-865

11/19/10 - Filed I-751 to California center with 545 check$

11/24/10 - Cheque has been cashed

11/29/10 - Got NOA FOR I-751

02/16/11 - Green card Approved though mail

Finally, in september I sent my AOS package,

I have had my biometric appointment, but after that nothing is happening

, and my case has not been touched :wacko:

Shouldnt it have been at least touched after the biometric?

08.09.08 Wedding

09.13.08 AOS package sent

09.16.08 AOS package received

09.18.08 NOA1 for I-485 and 1-765

09.26.08 NOA Biometric appointment

10.03.08 RFE

10.21.08 RFE received, case processing resumed

10.22.08 Biometric taken

01.26.09 I-765 approved (online)

02.05.09 Received EAD card

03.24.09 I-485 Interview. APPROVED :)

04.02.09 Received Green Card.

Mine was not touched from my biometric on 10/4 untill i was approved on 11/25. I would not worry. your EAD/AP should be approved in the next two weeks.
