NOA2 - Now What?

Hi Everyone,

I thought that I knew all I needed to know about the K-1 Visa application process, but obviously not since I'm asking a question(s).

I received the NOA2 in the mail today, and I'm just wondering what to do next? It says that my case has been forwarded to the consulate listed, but no one is listed (in my case, it would be London). Do I need to do anything at this point? I've been gathering all the information that my fiancee will need (she already has the whole I-129F packet) and I can send it to her next week, but what do we do in the meantime? Does the consulate send her something? Do we need to call there? I understand it takes a few days or even weeks to get there, do I get another letter in the mail from NVC saying when they're sending it and when it arrives? Because I notice people with similar dates as us have it in their timeline. Any advice you can give will be helpful.

Thanks!

After NOA2, your case is sent from NVC to your home country US embassy where your petition gets acquainted with the consul.

All this is in the guides. Just read the flowchart for K1 process. Read carefully and throughly. You should be at step 6 once you get your NOA2

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...amp;page=k1flow You can also access this by going to GUIDES > K1 flowchart at the top links of every page in VJ.com

Congrats by the way.

For the next step after NOA2 you can check the flowchart -> K1 Flowchart

For the documents you need to prepare vj has a very detailed guide line -> K1 Guide

Scroll down to the bottom you can see "What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2)"

Congratulations to Anaid & ray77755 for the approval of NOA2, I wish you both have a smooth process for the rest of your journey!!:dance::dance:

It IS in the guides. It's under the "Guides if you are engaged" and in the link of "K1 flowchart".

The K1 flowchart is a detailed step by step guide of all the steps during the process.
