Jan/Feb '08 VSC CR-1 Filers

I am starting this thread for those of us who filed I-130 ONLY (no I-129) in the months of January and February so we can track our progress. I think we were all 'left behind' when '07 files got transferred to CSC and I am hoping since we are at the 6 month mark that we will all see some action soon. I think some who filed I-129F along with I-130 have had more touches/approvals but I am curious if any standalone I-130s are getting any attention.

im a feb filler too, last touch was march 3 but since then nothing. its sickening honestly.

I filed for my wife and the USCIS received it in on Feb. 27. The last time our case was updated was in March. Also, we received the Notice of Action 1 in March. We haven't heard anything since then. My wife is really starting to worry. Of course I am concerned about it too.

Hi Pattu Rani,

I know you said you're interested in hearing from people who have filed just an I-130. I'm a K-3 filer, but I want to point out that I filed both the I-130 and I-129F just a couple of days after you and still have not been approved. So I'm not convinced that K-3 filers at VSC are faring much better. Only the K-1s are being processed quickly.

i filed in november 2007. but received NOA1 on Jan. 24, 2008. had a touch on feb 24t, and then on Aug., 6 my file was sent to CSC, and Aug. 9, i see that CSC received my file, and is pending.

I filed in february. One normal touch on Feb. 26th, case information available online. After Feb. 26th nothing. I hope they do something. either move it to CSC or start working @ VSC.

please can anyone else call vsc and ask what will happen to our I130s that are left behind? are they putting it on top of the pile or do we need to wait till we get transfered to csc also which is probably in 2018?

Sent our packet in January got NOA1 February 14th got NOA2 July 2 Currently AOS bill and IV bill are paid I864 is in process my wife just sent her DS-230. We went through Vermont

well guys, it seems there have been 3 approvals today at vsc HOWEVER these I130s had I129s filed with it. im kinda wondering if theyre going to start working on stand alone I130s too ? damn it, i hate vsc

Your timeline is similar to ours - it is extremely frustrating. I feel as if they've forgotten our case...

I filled in Jan and got NOA1 in Feb..Lat touch 2/24 ---- nothing after that..honestly, i have a feeling that we'll start seeing our approvals by end of this month...they are really trying to work it out by sendin old applications to California so i guess we'll hear from them soon...may be all 129f and 130 got transfer to california and NVC will only work on i-130 filers ? who knows....may be we'll see some progress soon guys...hang in there and we all soon hear good news
