Stopping by to wish all you VSC August filers a speedy Visa Journey.

I agree, the separation is the hardest thing to cope with.

I feel as though I am missing a part of my soul.

I surround myself with friends but still feel lonely.

I miss our embraces....that intimacy....

But I get strength from dreaming of our future....

For the time we are together...

So I wait, like all of you, and count down the days....

I know what you mean and I know what you feel.

My advice is this, be strong for each other, have something to look forward to (your VISA maybe your next visit)...

But I can tell you all the advice in the world there are still going to be times where you cant help but long for each other. That's what REAL love is.

God Bless and Good luck to all of us for a speedy, worry free and problem free jpurney!

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI

Sorry if this is a stupid question... how do you get your case number from the bank? I assumed it was on the NOA1?

No question is stupid... we all asked once. ;)

Your EAC or WAC number is also stamped on the back of your personal check so if you can get an electronic copy of the back of the check once it's cashed you can often get it from that.

Gemmie-

I couldn't read mine online as it was not very clear, so I called the bank and the customer service rep read to me what was stamped on the back. So, even you don't have access online, try calling the bank and see you can get it that way.

My case number did start with EAC and then 10 digits and it was stamped underneath the line of "- - - - - - - - -" on the check stamp.

Russ-

I just want to give you credit on this one as I read your post in other thread that gave me the tip to check for the stamp on the back of the check. Otherwise I would have just been waiting for the NOA1 in the mail. I would guess I'll receive that sometime early next week.

GZ !

Must be so nice.

I sended before you and still nothing here.

Oh well hopefully I will be the next :)

Not sure if it makes a difference, but I did submit mine by DHL next day air so it was delivered on 8/6. Depending on how you mailed your package, our K1's could have arrived at the same time. Hope that gives you less reason to worry. Hope your check clears in the next day or two.

Well I technically started the process in July but since I goofed and had to start over, I didn't get my NOA1 till August. So I guess I'm an August filer :) Hopefully things go quickly for everyone! I'm already impatient so it's gonna be a loooong wait for me!

Welcome to our waiting room. :)

Seems to be quite empty at the moment but I assume others will join us as the month goes on!

Your baby is adorable!

Hello everyone - newbie to VJ here!

My fiance (US citizen) and I have been in the waiting game for ages now and since he's had all sorts of issues with his birth certificate, passport issues...we decided to go with an attorney! January this year!! Anyway, to make a long story short, fiance had EVENTUALLY sent off required info to our attorney and we had FINALLY heard from them a few weeks ago and they advised that they had sent off our paperwork to the Vermont office and that was end July/beg Aug. Last week we received another call from the att informing us that to date, they have not yet received the filing number. :crying: Is this normal?? I've emailed the att following up on this today...I know Im just getting a more than impatient here considering we've been together for almost 5 years and only almost half the time we'd been together physically.

:(

ROC Journey:-

05.11.2012 -- mail I-751 packet

05.14.2012 -- Packet arrived @ VSC

xx.xx.2012 -- Check Cashed

05.15.2012 -- NOA1 dated 05.15.2012

05.31.2012 -- Biometric notice date

06.27.2012 -- Biometrics Taken

01.23.2013 -- Card Production Ordered.

01.28.2013 -- 10 Year Green Card Received

Don't panic, that's normal. Vermont has been taking a while to give the NOA1 (from where you're given your filing number) lately... sometimes up to a month.

I'm sorry to hear that your attorney wasn't very helpful in compliling the packet. Now that you've found VJ, your process should at least FEEL a lot smoother from the support.

You're quite lucky to have spent almost 2 and a half years together in person! My fiancee and I have also been talking (and mostly together) for over 5 years and have only spent a total of half a year together physically. Others have seen each other even less.

:)
