QUEEN!!! Yohooooooo (not really exciting after been so many times).

Just got the NOA2!!!!!!!!!! Its been 6 months minus 17 days. About time. I was feeling just like its unjust blah blah nothing had even been updated since 8 22 08 even at 5 this evening...got an email at 7 15 and the website was updated. I put in a request to the congressman the week before (since the senator explained that as a state senator he doesn't deal with federal matters). About time! To all those waiting, keep in mind that the approval can come at ANY TIME

Ok, so this is probably off topic but.. I have a concern / question..... and it wasnt answered in the last spot I posted it :crying:

Re: picture of you and your SO together...

That is the one thing I don't have... We have known each other since late 2006 and finally met on April 2008, however, the whole topic of marriage and spending the rest of our lives together didn't come up until my visit with him. When I was there we spent all of our time alone together and seeing the sites, not once did we think.. gee we better get some proof for the K1 process.. We filed for the K1 about 4 months after I left and upon reading about what we need and looking at the things I have, the picture of the two of us together are not one of them.. providing I have all my ducks in a row and have proof of an on going relationship... will this affect their final decision at the interview? :bonk:

I am surprised you didnt get an RFE for that but it might be a problem in the interview...but maybe they arent as strict on the photo evidence since your in Canada and its close. Do you have like pictures of him you took and pictures of you he took at like the same spot.....But then again reading what some people say here the interviewer didnt look at the pictures.

Well we did get an REF - but we didnt send in pictures at all with the RFE and we were still approved. I had sent them proof of my visit there as well as bording passes etc..

- As for picutres of him in the same spot and me in the same spot, yes I do have those.

I sent in the RFE evidence of Saturday and they did get it by Monday?? Does anybody have any idea how long does it take for them to approve the case??? I filed in Vermont.

there isn't really a standard timefram, some people get approved within 1-2 weeks, others are longer, MARM is a good example of this. she has been waiting over one month already...

I think it really depends on where you are but here is the status timeline for our RFE: and again, I hear Vermont is alot different for timeframes too, from reading other posts out there.

mmmm, it depends on the je%r$*k who interviews you at the embassy/consular of. But aren't you going to meet anytime soon before the interview?, I recomend that you go for the interview and take some pics before to show them.

Also gather other info. like e-mails, love letters, and phone bills. Tell them you don't have pics. cause you aren't phonogenic. :P

Good luck!

pictures are secondary evidence and aren't as important as boarding passes and passport stamps. However, I would make sure you have tons of other stuff. hotel receipts--with both your names on it even..? atm receipts? anything to prove you were there, and then to prove you were together.

And even though they are secondary, if you have a chance, it wouldn't hurt to schedule a trip and take your camera!!

Hey H.D. how's mommy?, hope she feels better! (F)

*************************************************************

Joke of the day:

Floyd calls the local Sheriff:

'Hello, is this the Sheriff's Office?'

'Yes. What can I do for you?'

'I'm calling to report 'bout my neighbor, Virgil Smith.

He's hidin' marijuana inside his firewood!

Don't quite know how he gets it inside them logs, but he's hidin' it there.'

'Thank you very much for the call, sir.'

The next day, 12 Sheriff's Deputies descend on Virgil's house...

They search the shed where the firewood is kept.

Using axes, they bust open every piece of wood, but find no marijuana.

They sneer at Virgil and leave.

Shortly, the phone rings at Virgil's house.

'Hey, Virgil! This here's Floyd... Did the Sheriff come?'

'Yeah!'

'Did they chop your firewood?'

Yep!

HAPPY B-DAY BUDDY!

Hey sis, mom's out of the OR now and she's doing better. The doctors will observe for another 2 days and they'll perform more tests to see if the stones are getting flushed out of her system. Keep praying for her and I am so sorry if I have been an elusive presence lately. Miss you all so much!
