I know me too - I want to dance around the office - but at the same time I don't want to get my hopes up in case there's another huge delay - I just want this to be OVER now. Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

isma,

good luck hun, there are so many of you stuck in that hell hole vermont, maybe this will start to clear up the mess that has no ryhme nor reason

cheers

Hey,

Do you mind if I ask what was in your RFE. After all these touches on my case, now I am little worry if I get a RFI.

Thank you

DON'T WORRY YOU PROBABLY WON'T GET A RFE RIGHT NOW... "REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE" OR INFORMATION... THAT'S MORE LIKELY TO HAPPEN WHEN YOUR CASE HAS BEEN SENT TO NVC.... LET'S HOPE THEY MOVE YOUR CASE TO CSC TOO... I DONT THINK THERE IS A SINGLE PERSON WORKING AT VSC, MAYBE A COUPLE OF THE COMPUTER, BUT THERE HASN'T BEEN A SINGLE APPROVAL IN MONTHS...

just got my notice of case transfer to CA center as well.... maybe this is a way for them to slow down on the calls to USCIS on "what's going on w/ my case?" as they finally realize all the calls are for stupid vermont center.

Is it only 2007 cases which have been transferred I wonder?? Or as usual there is no rhyme or reason and they just picked cases randomly.... You never know anything with VSC... If it's the 2007 then that's good for us Jan 08 filers 'coz hopefully that means we will be on the top of the pile now at VSC... I'm reading too much logic into their actions I think....

October '07 filer, Jan 17, 2008 NOA1, last touch 2/24/08. Today, loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly... Hills that is, swimmin' pools, movie stars...

Or at least somewhere in California.

My husband is very excited. I'm more cautious. But how bad can it be? At least they noticed that we're stuck in no man's land.

How many of you contacted a senator or congressman on your behalf? I did last week and they put in an inquiry. I'm just wondering if VSC has gotten so many inquiries that even congress is starting to ask what the hell is going on there.

Yes, at least you saw some movement today - I am still stuck in the 2/24 blackhole, for all I know my file could be stuck behind a filing cabinet somewhere at VSC....

This is good news then..I have been crying and dreaming and thinking that I will have to wait so many years before I see my husband again.I filed I-130 for my husband las yr Sept2007and just received the receipt #jan2008

there was no NOA1, just receipt#..with all vermont center slow processing I hope APPROVAL COMES i'll just be waiting for approval then..

It's been a long time, I hope sacrifices are paying back rewards now!!!!!!! :star:

I guess I should change my service centre here on VJ to California? What does that do to the timelines though? It's not as though it's been at California all this time so it doesn't really give a true processing time for people now at California or Vermont!
