Gratzzzz!!!! I'm happy for u!!! U should give us the name of that attorney LOL!!!!

Sure! I am going through the guys over at http://www.fianceevisas.com/

They never told me things might happen this soon. In fact, quite the contrary - they told me to not expect to hear back until around Nov! But I have been very pleased with them so far and hopefully they'll continue whatever they are doing and finish this in style!

I do want to point out, the lawyer did nothing to make this happen so fast. Those of us that got approved so fast were just lucky!!! I don't know why things happen the way they do at the USCIS, but the people that get approved faster than other is just luck. So please do not go paying for a lawyer just because you think it will make things go faster.

CSC is in love with the K3 and CR1/IR1 filers and VSC seems to love the K1, N400 and H1 filers....Hopefully, there is a breakup in these relationships soon and may be VSC will find love in K3 and CR1/IR1....just a silly thought.

I think they just take all the petitions and throw them in a big pile in the middle of a room. And they just pull them out one at a time. I dont think they look at dates or anything like that.

Done for 3 years or 10 years. Haven't decided yet.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

I just got an email from USCIS with current status stating "Approval notice sent" for my I-129F petition. The application was sent through my lawyers on June 3rd, NOA1 on June 13th and now approval on July 31st.

I am second guessing everything I know now about the K-3 process....this is really the approval right? It goes to NVC and Consulate now? Could someone confirm?

I am very dazed right now and really hope this is true. And if this is so, I hope too that things are getting much quicker for everyone.

Mine was approved in 17 days in California. No expedites. =)

Congrats on your approval!
