No. If I knew about a case where they desperately wanted a child and by giving my eggs I would help them succeed, I might consider it though it still seems so bizarre that a kid who might look like me would be walking around with other parents. I wouldn't do it for the money.

If my sister really wanted a baby in the future and was not able to after a long process of trying everything she could, I would actually offer to be a surrogate for her I think, if I was able to. I mean that still feels weird but the outcome would be worth it.

I think there is a big misconception about how a woman's body gets ruined by having a baby. Yeah it might change you and it might not. I know some people who look exactly the same before and after a baby, and not even stretch marks. That won't happen for everyone but would all the Hollywood women be having babies if they really thought it would ruin their careers by making them ruined? If someone really wants a baby, they don't usually care what happens to their body. And there is always plastic surgery if someone can't bare to not look exactly the same after having a baby.

In the Valley, Dr. Bruce Shapiro at the Fertility Center of Las Vegas said compensation is closer to $3,000 to $5,000.

But he said he hopes the economy is not the main reason more women are donating.

“We really try to have people who donate for altruistic reasons. That's the best of all worlds. Sometimes you can't be absolutely certain. You can only be certain of what a person tells you,” Shapiro said.

I would totally donate my eggs. I make pretty babies, haha and since I have two on my own (well..almost two) I woudl definetely do it. It makes good money. I know a girl who donated eggs several times BUT apparently the US doesn't want German eggs no more. They are scared we all have mad cow disease.

For a complicated and invasive surgery procedure? No; it'd have to be a lot more.

I wouldn't hesitate to donate or be a surrogate for a sister/close female family member, though.
