Happy Wednesday all! We are here in Tx at my sisters house, its hot and humid but at least she has a pool :). The pineapple princess is being good but she does NOT want to sleep. I had to press her down this morning for her nap but now she is sleeping, well, like a baby.

I am super excited because I saw in the paper that the huge Impressionist collection from the Chicago Art Institute is here at a museum in Fort Worth. I've seen it before in chicago but I want to take my son. then my brother in law decided to take a day off and go with us on Thursday so I am really looking forward to it :)

so here we are enjoying family time! Hope everyone has a great week!

Kelly, I am sorry about your grandma.

One day closer to vacation!!!!!:dance::dance:

Amy, what's the word on the dr's appt yesterday? Hope you're feeling better today! :star:

I'm going in early Friday morning for an IVP of my kidneys and ureters. I snagged the report from the ER visit and it says I have stones in my left and right kidney (stones in the kidneys are normal....it's when they break loose it's not) stones in the left ureter and possibly one lodged in the right. I have been feeling a lot better so maybe I passed a few. I go back to the doctor after the test Friday to see what the plan is. She also mentioned a possible appendicites, but I really don't think that's it. I've been having these pains off and on since January and none of the bloodwork I've had has shown an infection. Anywho......Saturday we're all gonna be off on a jet plane so whatever their plan is has to wait a couple weeks.:innocent:

Hey all! Just another relaxing day in Morocco. We spent an hour or so at the beach today. I'm actually starting to get some color. Still no word from Casa. AP is the worse thing to wait for because everytime I call, I get the same answer. Any tips on getting them to give me more info? I have a Vonage phone here, so it doesn't cost anything to call the US other than the monthly fee.

Try calling first and harassing (in the nicest whiney way) the office a bit...call ur own doctor and then the specialist office...explain and explain and call again ;-) At least give it a try before heading to the ER...so expensive. I believe the squeeky wheel gets the oil...the more they hear from you (of course being kind) they will want to help you out. Doesn't always work but worth a shot sweets! (F)

Kelly, with you in Chicago, there is a tea from Argentina called Boldo - you should be able to find it at any hispanic store. It helps to cool the stomach. I know that your issue is huge and probably requires some serious pharmaceuticals but I'd give it a shot.
