Glo

Hi Sweetie Glo!

I'm supposed to call the embassy again if I could get another interview maybe a week later than 14th but I was thinking that maybe I can manage to get everything done before october 14th.

So I got the good news and my fiance will be able to scanned his i-134, tax transcript and w2 by this week and some of the documents sent thru fed-ex. It wil be here by Friday. So i still have like the whole saturday to get things done and compile them accordingly.

Did you made photocopy of all your evidences? Like the chat logs, receipts, tickets and bank stubs? Because if you did then I'll have it photocopied as well...

Hi hun,

Sorry for my late reply cuz of work again, yes I have made a copy for everything (except chat logs cuz its too many).

In case anyone would like to know I'm gonna share how I prepared for interview here.

1. I put the appointment letter with all the original documents in order as per the checklist they gave me in package 4 so I could hand to the counter right away.

2. For rest of ongoing evidence which were too small to file with original documents, such as boarding pass, tickets to the places we traveled, engagement ring receipt, I filed them in the album and put a sticker with details on each of them.

3. I put our photos with details (date, name (friends/family) and location) after the evidence in the same album and filed in time order.

4. Our chat logs started from the date we filed for the petition up to now.

5. I had a folder in my bag with all of our documents (either its original or copy) we have submitted or received from the beginning (I put labels like forms, letters..etc to file them out) in case they want to take a look of anything which ain't on the checklist or simply just need a copy.

I've also highlight our names and date on the evidence so they can check them easily.

At the end they didn't ask me for any copy and returned most of the stuff except my visa fee receipt, my fiance's employment letter and I-134 form. We were joking with the consular officer that they could keep our chat logs since they were too heavy to carry back home and of cuz they didn't take them. I'm not sure if its just a case for Hong Kong so it's better to check with your USE's requirement. But its always better to keep a set of copy for ur own record.

My fiance was amazed how I filed everything and he said he is the luckiest man cuz he doesn't have to deal with paperwork lol. Just msg me for any further advice and hopefully my experience can help everyone out.

Cheers :star: ,

Glo

hey everyone,

what is the best kind of ticket to get for the fiance who is coming to the US- one way or a changeable round trip? OW costs the SAME as RT....!!!!! if you got a RT you could use the other leg later, when your fiance wants to visit family and friends. but i could see how that might end up being a hassle. any advice? how are you all handling it? i have some frequent flyer miles- maybe we will use them.

thanks !

hey everyone,

what is the best kind of ticket to get for the fiance who is coming to the US- one way or a changeable round trip? OW costs the SAME as RT....!!!!! if you got a RT you could use the other leg later, when your fiance wants to visit family and friends. but i could see how that might end up being a hassle. any advice? how are you all handling it? i have some frequent flyer miles- maybe we will use them.

thanks !

kathie

Kathie....

Congratulations to you! :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Oh! About the ticket... My fiance will get one way ticket only for me. Because his friends got only one way when their fiance/fiancee went to US. Since I'm not going back anytime soon. Also my fiance visa is single entry. Not unless if it's intentional that a fiance/fiancee doesn't want to stay in the US and plans to go back home after 90 days.

Hi Glo!

How are you? have some of my fruits! hehehehe! Oh damn! I forgot to ask them when did my case arrived! Ops!

Angel

Good luck Angel!!!

Thank you, Mitchamy!

It's strange that they will not send me Packet 3 anymore. Maybe it's because i called them because they were able to send my packet 3. But the lady ssaid i won' tbe needing that anymore. I just need to download some documents in the website.

Well as far as i know USE-Phils dont have packets to send out...Go to US website and download DS forms.

And pay your delbros right away to avoid delays of your visa.

Amy

Mitch!

I already paid my delbros and my visa fee in BPI. And they gave me a validated DS-157. I have to hand written that form. I had that photocopied in case I'll make a mistake. I haven't filled the form yet. Kind of anxious I might get a mistake filling that out. Lol!

How's your process, Mitch? How's it going?

Angel

Hi Angel,

Nothing much happening, no interview sched yet. I have to wait for the USE-HK to sched me for interview, Wondering what keeps them long.
