You wrote a lot and said nothing Number 6, so here is to you real man of genius. And the same old smelly HORSE DUNG from Number 6, spinning his liberalism with no cause all over the place.

Those dastardly "liberals". Used to be a man could get behind the wheel with a six-pack and crack open a couple of cans on his way home from work.

How dare the government infringe on my right to drive and drink - or do anything that causes a tangible road hazard to other drivers.

The shame! The horror! The outrage.

The same smelly old manure from zqt3344.

Well there wasn't a lot to respond to other than that stereotypical, hackneyed garbage about liberals... :D

BTW - I'm serious on the drink driving thing. I mean how dare the government infringe on my right to not be responsible on the roads... I should be allowed to have a skinful and drive at speeds in excess of 80mph without having to worry about the cops breathing down my neck.

I don't see people with Bluetooths (Blueteeth?) much around here anymore. That was so last year.

They're all implanted now. Only the plebs have those over-the-ear things... ;)

That must be it. Although I don't have those awkward moments anymore where I think someone is talking to me and I respond to them, then I realize that they're on the phone and I run in the other direction.

What about makeup? I can't say I have heard any laws about putting on your makeup while driving, but I think thats more dangerous than talking on a cell.

Anyone actually does that while driving? I've seen women putting mascara on while they're on the passenger seat and their SO is driving. I'm okay with that. If they don't mind risking losing their eye, their business, not mine. :P

I've seen women putting makeup while waiting for the green light. I'm okay with that too - they're not endangering anyone, only if they don't react in time slowing down the traffic a bit, but w/e.

But makeup WHILE driving...

I believe that a police officer can pull anyone over if they believe the person is not paying attention to the road. Although most accidents are preventable and usually because the driver was distracted, using a cell phone while driving quickly became the biggest culprit with accidents. Now with this law, culpability can be more easily directed at the driver rather than the driver giving a defense that they weren't breaking any laws when the accident occurred.

I sure have seen it. I can't see the point. Either get up a 10-15 minutes earlier or do it in the restroom at your work. But driving??

Apparently a friend of a friend would READ/STUDY while driving. He would go 50 in the right lane and prop his book up against the steering wheel.

I swear, people are flippin' insane.

I've seen how people drive with cell phones. I don't believe that I'm somehow this exceptional driver who is able to talk on the cell and drive at the same time. I don't think people are very self-aware sometimes.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
