We (thankfully) don't live in a society where violent civil unrest is the norm.

Not the norm, yet occurrences are not rare enough for it to be considered out of character.

The truth is, where I am, the police will take care of the rioters. My town spends a lot of money on its PD for no obvious reason. No obvious reason, until you realize the towns we're surrounded by.

What's sad about this thread is it points out the fact that most Americans are nowhere near prepared to deal with a riot, and those who are prepared have been rendered incapable to do so by the legal system.

sounds like a man with a gun, and the knowledge that if he uses it to save his life, he's gonna pay some crack baby's grandmother for the next 30 years.

if thats the case thanks God i live in oregon, couple of shot guns, a few rifle a few hand guns and plenty of ammo all legal
