"Other" on the last one because I wouldn't accept any of those changes.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

SFH, rural

SFH, rural

Other - Unless there was NO choice whatsoever and my family's survival was at stake, I would never willingly live in the city again, either SFH or MFH.

Dang...should have included a "none of the above" choice for the last question

Anyone else please just choose "other" on the third question to answer "none" as Platy did.

What kind of dwelling do you live in, in what type of area?

Townhouse in a suburb (pop. density is over 3,000 people per sq mile, in flyover this would be a city i suppose)

Where would you prefer to live and why?

If I could afford it, I'd stay right where I am but get a SFH in the area. But I can't afford it. My wife wants to get a SFH in the outer exurbs but I'm resistant to the idea (so far). Neither of us want to move into NJ's urban areas, primarily because it would take us very far from work (and even if we wanted to, we can't afford it).

What living situation would you willingly change to and why?

Now living in multi-family dwelling, would move to single family dwelling

Now living in low density area, would move to high density area - how dense is low density and how dense is high density, in your opinion?

According to Wikipedia, our city is actually a "suburban city", but it's not what one would typically think of as the suburbs. I guess it's suburban because it's outside of Boston. Pop density is 11,102.9/sq mi.

This PDF (Cities: We're Still Making Them) by the Regional Plan Association of NJ, NY and CT uses 10,000 people per sq. mile as the dividing line between suburban and urban.

in the same house but out in the country

What living situation would you willingly change to and why?

Both of us would like to move out of the town and into a house with lotsof land around it. I was raised in Cantonements (army bases) in India and Daniel was raised on a farm. Used to having open space and greenery around us. That will have to wait till we retire though

Single fam house...in suburbs I guess. We aren't on the edge of a big city, but this isn't a small town. It's one huge area with houses everywhere--a planned community.

I'd prefer to stay in a single family house, and move to a smaller town that is the same commute to a city with good jobs.

I'd move from SFH higher density to lower density...but not rural.

Currently apartment in the suburbs.

I would love to move to a condo in the city (waiting until SO moves here to figure that out).

I chose "other" for "none".

I'm completely satisfied with our living condition. Would only change if we went back to Brazil live in a small house by the beach.
