Another Toilet Paper Poll: Over or Under?

84 members have voted

  1. 1. When you place the holder into the roll, does the loose end:

    • fall from behind and under the roll?
      12
    • fall from the front and over the roll?
      64
    • depends on my mood of the day
      4
    • I never replace the roll, so it doesn't matter
      4
  2. 2. If your SO doesn't place the holder 'properly' so the end falls the way you like it, do you adjust it?

    • Yes, otherwise it drives me nuts
      40
    • No, I couldn't care less
      21
    • My SO replacing the roll??? HA HA!!

This 'controversy' seems to raise its ugly head in the US 'etiquette' discussions every once in a while... wondered if it reaches farther than just the US.... :)

I'm an 'over' girl myself... and I admit to adjusting the roll, even if it's not my house!! :)

lol Im with you Jen.....Im an over girl as well.......and I will change it no matter who's home I'm in .......probably one of the only things I am ####### with :P

I never used to be until I had my 4 kids.......there is nothing worse when they would get poop on their fingers when wiping their butts and if the roll is under they inadvertantly get poop on the wall when getting more paper hahahahahaha

Under. It's easier to rip off that way. If it's over, you have to put the other hand on top of the roll to hold it and keep it from rolling while you tear.
