I guess I understand that they would want to take pictures of these undocumented tirbes as proof to otehrs that they exist, but wouldn't it be better to just leave them be. In the one picture, they have their bows raised at the plane, which is something they may have never seen before and probably don't know what it is.

I'd rather take the researcher's words that there are undocumented tribes around then see pictures of them and have others wanting to go do some documentary on them.

I completely agree. If they have never seen a plane before, or been contacted in any way by the "outside world" I am sure that it was very frightening and confusing. These are human beings and should be treated with the same respect and given the same privacy as any of us in the "civilized world." If a helicopter was flying over your backyard and taking pictures of you and your family in your home - would that be civil and just? I think not. I agree that there should be awareness about these tribes in order to protect them, but I'm not sure flying over top of them with a helicopter and taking photos was the best way to do so.

I really dont know how anyone can say for sure what these ppl have seen or not seen, or what they know of the outside world.

Seems to me if these ppl are seeing a helicopter for the first time they would be running like he!!.
