2008: Moved to China
2009: Conditional GC Expired and Husband has been having affairs since 2008 in China. Can't file for ROC since he got laid off. He came to Jakarta to live with me and my parents. He got a new job. Life resume to normal or so I thought.
March 2010: Officially separated after yet more affairs exposed just a day after my birthday!

February 2011: Officially divorced.
June 18, 2011: He married the girl he had the last affair with.

August 2014: I am engaged with my real soulmate. Not an American.

Question though, why'd she take your EAD card? Do they all do this when you get approved for your greencard?

I was told at my AOS interview that if I used my AP after AOS was approved, then my AOS would become invalid and USCIS would revoke my GC.

My interview was REALLY FAST!!! and I am approved!!!! YEY

well.. we went to Chalotte early as our interview set up for 9.30 am (we guess 3 hrs drive from Durham) we were there 45 mins early but the let us in. at 9.20 the officer called my name so we went in and I gave her all my real paper work (kinda nervous) she talked to us alittle and said that she was surprised that our case is so fast!! we fly through!!

she asked me how did we meet and then we just talk about our dog and her dogs... ended up talking about dogs the whole time :whistle: while we talk she kept asking for the copy of our stuff so in the end she got both real document and the copy one of my "document that shows establishment of lawful perminent resident eg. my W2 and bills" I didnt even notice it until we left as i couldnt find my W2 - oh well.. i can ask for another one (if not with her then it'd be laying somwhere in the waiting room :blush: )

Then I show her our engagement picture in Thailand (to compare my hubby weight :lol: ) then we just chat for a while and she said she approved us. She took my EAD cards (interim one and the real one) and said the Green card will be in the mail and we will get it in 2 weeks!! and she walked us out.. YEY so HAPPY!!! we were on our way back 9.35

SOOOO HAPPY!! :lol:

She said for me to use my GC for travel in and out and for work.. so she took my EAD - I dont have AP... I think it's the same for everyone :yes:

She stamped my passport.. it said

Processed for I-551. Temporary evidence of Lawful Admission for Perminent Residence. Valid until...... Employment Authorized.

December 13, 2007 - I-751 submitted to NSC (removing of conditions fun begins...)

December 22 - Received a rejection notice because the form was not "properly signed". Package itself was not returned.

January 1, 2008 - Received packet back from CSC. They are requesting we resubmit the packet (which is already organized by CSC) with a properly signed form.

January 2 - Packet resubmitted to California.

January 12 - NOA1 received (dated 01/07/2008)

January 19 - Biometrics appointment notice received (dated 01/15/2008)

February 1 - Biometrics

March 11 - Approved! Card production ordered (notified via e-mail).

March 20, 2008 - New card arrived in the mail :)

Done until 2018 :)
