Plz someone tell me what consolidation is? i was told a few minutes ago by csc that my case has been sent to consolidation what is it what does it mean?????

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

It's just a hunch mind, but I think it means that all of the checks that they have been doing as the case has been moved back and forth are being consolidated into one Clearance Report which would mean the paperwork would then move on to the next stage.

2/16/08 --> finally send I-129F to CSC

7/21/08 --> touched/NOA2 email

8/09/08 --> "Pakage 3" in the mail

8/21/08 --> Medical Exam

9/19/08 --> Interview

9/26/08 --> Visa arrived

10/08/08 --> flying from Duesseldorf - JFK - Cleveland

11/08/08 --> finally married :)

12/27/08 --> AOS/EAD/AP send to Chicago

5/13/09 --> found a job and we picked out Molly (Beagle Puppy)

5/20/09 --> I485 "Card has been ordered" and again on 5/29/09

5/23/09 --> "Welcome to the United States of America"

6/2/09 --> AOS approved

6/5/09 --> GC in the mail and at night brinnging home Molly... such a great feeling :)

Once USCIS forwards records to the FBI for name checks, the process and the .... consolidation into a Clearance Report. 3. CLEARANCE ...

Sounds like Markand Hannah is right!! I don't want to jinx you or anything, but it sounds like good news!! I sure hope so. When I clicked on that link I couldn't find those words in the huge pdf file it links to, but it was official looking & from the USCIS regarding the FBI security/background check process.

thanks God i thought maybe it was another security check for something only they know about we dont have anything to hide but it all takes so much time and it is getting so difficult anymore to even call them cuz every week they have a new excuse lol

and seem to be starting on the old ones all over again lol but at least i learned a new word in the visa process today lol thats something right lol

Sara I have everything crossed that this is a positive step forward. It sounds as though it should be from a semantics point of view, lets hope CSC have finally decided to pass your file on. Lord knows they have had it long enough.

5th February 2008 - I-129F forms sent for K1 visa (VSC)

26th March 2008 - NOA2 recieved via email

19th May 2008 - Interview............APPROVED!!!!!!

21st May 2008 - Visa in hand

29th July 2008 - POE

2nd September 2008 - Married

19th September - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP to Chicago lockbox

25th September - Check cashed $1010.00 (OUCH!!)

29th September - Received NOA's for AOS/EAD/AP

13th October - AOS Petition transferred to CSC!!!

17th October - Biometrics (Tampa Office)

17th October - AOS/EAD Touched

20th October - AOS Touched

21st October - AOS Touched

6th November - AOS/EAD/AP Touched (probably due to change of address)

10th December - EAD approved

28th January 2009 - GC approved without interview. Done with all this till 2011!!!!!!!!

u know u guys could be right cuz i checked on line today and it was updated and its a holiday.........i know that in general that a touch means probably nothing......but in our case i feel it has to mean something this late in the game lol.........

I know there has been a lot of prayers for us i have felt them for some days now and really as i said i know that normally a touch means nothing but i feel something is happening i dont know how to explain it and its the first time i have felt that i can not thank u guys enough for all ur help and prayers
