I have been noticing so much delay in the way VSC approves its petitions unlike CSC.The CSC is approving all petitions left and right including late jan/ feb filers.Does anyone has any idea why VSC not approving at all There is signifiant difference in their processing ...I was trying to find valid reason other than backlog which CSC has had too.

Do you think VSC is busy processing H1's , does CSC process H1 too?

Unfortunately I cannot think of any valid reason why VSC is treating US citizens who filed at VSC.

:bonk::bonk::bonk::bonk:

I even spoke to senator office person, she asked me whether i did go to vermont regarding this matter.she told me they cannot interfere unless its absolutely extremely emergency reason.May god bless VSC...and all these beurocratic people.

Something is definately wrong with Vermont processing. I really do hope that they are sending the applications to California. I hope we can hear something real soon.

Transfering, now half of applications will go "missing" or will be "magically" approved

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

I was able to speak with someone in Vermont a few weeks ago, and I was told that the officers were pulled in all directions and away from the family based petitions such as I-130. The officer was trying to explain to me what caused the delays.... It still helped me quite a bit despite the bad news, just talking to a human there. It was like being in an isolation cell in the prison, and then seeing some light and being able to talk to the guards. I can do some (more) time, just feel sorry for my wife. So....the resources are there, and the officers wouldn't mind finishing up our applications, I have a feeling they know our pains, but it's the management deciding that other applications are more important, and that the families can wait, hey they got married for better or for worse.....well there you go...this is the 'worse' part right now....enjoy it while it lasts. Plus if you can't handle a couple of years of separation then you weren't really serious or meant for each other anyways... :jest: Or maybe they just don't give a damn....

This sucks more than anything else has ever sucked before.

An October 2007 I-130, I-129F filer.

A couple of years of sepration??? #######. lets see them seprated for a couple of years. That is a load of #######!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who in the hell gives them the right to play God for 8 hours a day? Why do ficance' have priority over couples who have already committed, we dont have 90 days to F*** off for 90 days, do what they want and then marry on day 89. Some of these families have children, suffering finacially , emontionally, wondering why has USICS forgotten the families. This is so wrong. And your right Dr. Nick, this is the worse part.

Thank you for sharing with us. By God if I survive this process, Im going to do what I can to change this process!!!!

Truly happy!!!

Mrs. Hooks32,

There is no number directly to VSC that is published. You hav eto call customer serivce, and they can transfer you to VSC. Have you tried to get a expedite because your husband is military? There is a forum here called Miliatry chit chat, I bet you can get some good information there.

Also there are several military couples on this website.

There is no useful number to call, and that's one part of the problem. I feel as if we are a part of some cruel experiment, we are kept in the dark with no end in sight, not even approximately, the constant fear that they lost the application, the constant questioning of everything as we don't have any answers...the way the VSC is treating us is simply inhumane....where are the justice, dignity, family values???? Family based petitions should have priority....but the temporary work visas (and God knows what else) are lot more important to those that have the power....let's make sure they have plenty of cheap labor while the US citizens are waiting to be with their families. I say we buy us a couple of tents and camp outside the VSC until they complete our petitions, no matter what, that should get us some media attention and maybe also help the unhappy souls that are filing these family based petitions right now...

This sucks more than anything else has ever sucked before.
