The naming of cats is a difficult matter! (see below)

We currently have:

Toby (family pet name)

Henry (David Thoreau)

Emily (Dickinson)

Moon (from zen poem: "Barn's burnt down, now I can see the moon")

Kale (pron: Kallay, Nepali for "black")

Tori (Nepali for "mustard")

They are all foundlings of one sort or another.

And in the past I have had: Katrina, Ben, Gretchen, Hannibal, Starly, Katie, Casey, Strider, Road Warrior, Mad Max, Little Kitty, and several others that are not coming to my addled brain at the moment.

Good luck! Sometimes it takes a few days for the cat to tell you his name, so be patient... it will come.
