It seems like almost all of my time is spent on the computer! Matt and I must have been exchanging a dozen emails a day. Just a couple of nights ago, we finally found a IM program that would work through the firewall on my computer! I have been trying to spend time with my friends as well, since the first couple months Matt is here are going to be so busy that we probably won't be able to see them much. What I *really* need to do is clean, and now that Matt's arriving in two days, it's time for me to finally get to that!

I work full-time, part-time, and have my own business. I am a mom of two girls. When I have a spare moment between all of this, I like to chat on here or play games at pogo.com.

Dave and I only have to wait one more month for that..... June 8th is the day people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dance:

But I watch a lot of tv, go to the mall and to the beach with my sister, talk to Dave a lot too every night, play cards, rent lots of movies, play a lot of quizzes online, work a lot, go for a walk and stop to have some coffee and pie somewhere, read books..... that's basically what I usually do!

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

This is what I do to pass the time...

I used to work for Comair in Knoxville, TN... seems like a lifetime ago.

Jen

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

We were much like Charles & Nessa, even though we were 4,700 miles apart, we acted like we were together. So every spare minute spent together on the phone, webcams, yahoo games, msn etc. I also made us our own website and we spent alot of time there sharing piccies etc.

When either of us went out we would check in regularly with each other by cellphone, so it really felt like we were already living together.

 We're the same way! I go to work at 2pm everyday and get home at 8pm. So from about the time he gets home from work ( which is usually about the same time as me, except for Fridays when we gets home 2 hours later) until about 4am, we use webcameras so it feels we're together! We watch tv together, movies, play games, talk a lot, play with the kitties, play cards, eat together etc.

And yeah we call each other during the day sometimes if we're bored and want someone to talk to or if we miss each other!

Most of the stuff I do, that I posted previously, I do while I'm at work..... lol.... since I work at the mall I have time to do a lot of stuff there like reading, walking around, going to the movies, etc.

But when I'm home, which is most of the time I think, I'm usually doing something with Dave. :luv:
