So my congressman's office sent a request for expedited service on my case, and they received an email back from Vermont saying that my case is currently with an adjudicating officer.

I'm wondering if any of you have had this news, then received an approval shortly after.

I guess this means that it is in the final stage???

I hope that this phase is over soon!!!!!!!!!

Why why why have you had to wait so long????? Makes me nervous! You definately deserve to be out of the USCIS now and even way past the next stage.

How can there be any order to their system if you are still waiting yet others from months and months after you filed have been approved? Sounds like you will get approval within days, fingers crossed for you.

my case is also with an officer.. back in November.. haha.. The thing is it is on their desk.. it is just they aren't doing anything about it.. They have a quota to meet so they are doing the easier ones first..

hmmm well im not much help we are k1 and was told last week ours was on the way to adjudicator still nothing lol i have read that it can take a long time even there so best for us to set and wait but its sssssssssssssssoooooooooooooo hard lol

Summer 2001--we met in Manzanillo, Mexico

10/02--129F submitted (We had 1 RFE)

7/03--Interview in Ciudad Juarez

2/15/04--Married

4/2/04--AOS submitted

8/23/04--Interview in Chula Vista, CA (approved pending name check)

5 EADs, 3 APs, multiple Senators' inquiries and infopass appts, 2 AOS biometrics,

and one move to Seattle later...

3/3/08--AOS Biometrics renewal in Seattle

6/9/08--10 year green card arrived in the mail. My husband is no longer in immigration limbo and is a realio, trulio permanent resident! It says he's been a resident since 04/17/2008.

1/17/11--Apply for Citizenship

well, I did file back in April 2007 :blush: I should have got a decision of any at least by now.. I'm going to consultation today to hire an immigration lawyer (or a team) to help make a decision for my case.. yeah, so I'm really jealous of the Adjustment of Status people.. they can still see their spouse everyday.. I even told USCIS if it happens that way I don't care if they take 5 years to do Adjustment, as long as we can be together..

people who aren't under security checks.. let's just say people not from China it seems like.. Right now, China isn't too highly regarded in USCIS (with all the fake marriages coming out) and the arrests of many people dealing with fake marriages recently in the US.. I hope that you can get approved soon.. at least some of us can get our spouses over here.. like my signature says, if I don't get it by December 20, then I move back to be with her..
