Well I am just sitting here at work with a smile on my face knowing that I got revenge on my roomates this morning.

Last night I almost jumped out of bed at 2 am because all of a sudden I heard music, screaming, etc. upstairs in our appartment. So apparently my roomates (who I don't even talk to and cannot reason with) decided to have a party on Wed night, yep, the day before my midterm. So I didn't get back to sleep until almost 4 am which just sucks.

Even though I was extremely tired and did not want to get up early for work at all, I woke up an extra hour early, at 6 am, and went upstairs where the kitchen is along with all of their bedrooms. I found my roomate and her boyfriend passed out on the futon in the living room, about 5 empty bottles of wine, a case of beer etc. and a huge mess. I was pretty pissed off.

So i got them back by going into the kitchen and making every noise possible to wake them all up: I wahed all the dishes, unloaded the dishwasher, made coffee, chopped carrots (which made more noise than I thought it would yay!), cleaned out the fridge..... etc. etc. until everyone was up and mad and grumpy. No one said anything to me but oh I knew that they were pretty annoyed with me. Success! IT feels so good knowing that I got them back and I think they know it too.

These roomates are from hell I believe, they are three nineteen year olds who are living alone for the first time away from home so they just have no respect and seem to think they don't need to be responsible what so ever. I can't wait until everyone leaves! I could make a list of several pages of the stupid things they have done this year, but I'll refrain.

K that's it- I'm just so happy that finally I got them good!

Luckily my roomate days are soon over. Thank god.

Have a great day everyone,

Sarah

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Hey I live on the bottom floor and they live upstairs. I never bother them, never tell them to do stuff... they don't even know I'm there 90% of the time. I go away each weekend so I don't bother them at all.

Here's what annoys me:

They gave the house key to some friends and while my roomates left for spring break I was still there and found that there were 4 people, none of which live in the appartment upstairs taking showers, watching TV eating (my food!!). My roomates didn't even bother to let me know someone would be coming by. They came over everyday that week, and still do when no one is home and that is just NOT cool and it is also not safe at all.

Another thing is that each month I pay our utility bills and then they pay me back. Every month they pay me back AT LEAST 2 weeks late and this past month they were all 4 weeks late paying me back. I don't have a very abundant amount in my bank account so it sucks when they don't pay me and I have to ask them everyday about it.

Other things that annoy me would be them eating all of my food, drinking all of my milk every week... things like that. And when they say they will replace it they never do of course!!!

I guess you could say that I am THAT girl but seriously it has been one rough year trying to put up with this #######!

I think you need to get a new place. Seriously, there are two types people: those who eat their roommate's food and don't care if their roommates eat theirs, and those who don't eat their roommate's food and hate when their roommates eat theirs. Neither way is right, but I've found this to be irreconcilable.

I will never understand why my old roommate felt the need to put post-its in the fridge saying "Linda's milk" and the like. And she will never understand how I could be so brazen as to drink her milk.

I'm not saying this is the only issue, as there are obviously more in your case.

But a person's stance on the fridge issue usually indicates compatibility as roommates...

awwww don't blame ya Sarah!! I'm sure some here were just jokin' with ya, but I would be SO annoyed at them too. It might be a phase and all, but they're goin' thru it at YOUR expense! ...and sometimes, it sounds, quite literally! Glad you got em back... I agree with the open curtains thing too....bright sun with a hangover??? Not so much! haha...I bet you will be SO relieved when you can get outta there...I only had a couple roommates in my life, but it's not very fun...mine wasn't as bad as yours, but because I moved in there SECOND it was all basically 'her' place and I was stayin there..even tho we split everything equal. I was like  ? Anyway....hope you still aced your Midterm, and good on ya for gettin em!!! :) M.

Yes, I agree with you. Unfortunately these roomates were a last minute thing because my parents bought the condo in Spring and by summer I had to find people ASAP to start paying rent. Before they even signed the lease we all talked about things like sharing food, and I said Iw ould rather not because I probably do not eat the same things as they do, and there are 3 of them and one of me.

They have made my life a living hell and at this point I just don't care anymore so if they're gonna put me through that then I have no issue returning the favor. Luckily we only have one more month together until they move out.

Jenn- If I live with friends or people I acutually like then I have absolutely no problem with sharing my milk and other stuff. The reason I don't with them is because they brake everything (microwave, chairs, 80$ internet router, chalkboard...etc.) which are all things that I have paid for myself and don't even say sorry or anything. I just think that's disrespectful and irresponsible. But since you and I are friends Jenn I would let you drink my milk! haha.

I'd like to put a post-it note on the diet, caffeine-free Pepsi that is in the fridge, cuz my current roommate always makes mixed drinks with it and he could use any old cola for that and when the only other thing I have to drink is water or milk and he saves me a teaspoon of pop....I wanna slug him....but he's my husband...LOL :lol::lol::wacko:
