Don't rely on the online status too much as most of the times it's not up to date. As long as you have the hard copy of the NOA2...you are good to go. Congrats and good luck along the way.

Put the NOA2 letter in a safe place, you will needed it later.

It takes a week or so to get to NVC, the a few weeks to go through NVC and be sent to China. After that and it takes 3 months for it to clear customs, and then sits in a warehouse until the consulate is ready to receive it.

You may want to Join and study everything you can about the interview at that consulate on "A Candle for Love" http://candleforlove.com

We found out we were approved when my fiance called CSC on 7th of April. The lady told him that it was approved 5 days ago (April 2). We constantly check USCIS site yet the status there was still " pending". After the call, that's when they updated our case in the said site. It's funny because that day I got the email notification & my fiancee received the NOA2 hard copy later in the afternoon. In short, one surprise after another .

Congratulations for the approval!
