Pacino and De Niro together again! WOHOO!

Man, I just finished watching the trailer for their brand new movie, Righteous Kill, and I'm already counting the days til Sept. 18th! Being a huge fan of Mr. Alfredo James Pacino myself you can tell I'm thrilled! De Niro well I'm not that into his movies but he's an amazing actor as well. Scent of a woman, Godfather, Carlitos Way, on and on and on! The best actor in hollywood in my opinion.

Hate to disagree with everyone - but I think De Niro and Pacino are vastly overrated and haven't done decent work in years.

Scent of a Woman was one of the worst movies ever.

They are indeed a bit overexposed, and their performances used to be better long ago. Still like them, but not as much.

Scent of a Woman is a remake of Profumo di Donna, a wonderful Italian movie, really worth watching.

Pacino was great in his early roles in the 70's up until the early 80's. The Godfather, which kickstarted his career was a role that Pacino only got out of sheer luck and because Francis Ford Coppola threatened to quit. He had to try hard in that - and his performance in parts 1 & 2 was really very good.

Pretty much everything he was in since the mid 80's hasn't been particularly great - in terms of his acting anyway. Donnie Brasco was perhaps the one exception.

De Niro is the same - Taxi Driver and Raging Bull are great movies but most of his reputation comes out of those early movies.

They've both been in good films since then - but I haven't been knocked out by either of them specifically.

I called for Pacino fans, if you are going to trash him refrain from posting! haha naaa kidding to each his/her own.

There are people that still like B. Spears and even though I cannot grasp the idea of people thinking that pseudo-artist has some sort of talent, everybody is free to like whoever they want. As we say in my country "cada cabeza es un mundo" each head is a world.

If scent of a woman was the worst movie ever then the entire academy is a joke.

His performance was amazing, and that's my personal opinion and i guess the academy shares the same belief.

Deniro...his comedic turns aside (because I know that hasn't been for everyone), I've really enjoyed A Bronx Tale, This Boy's Life, Awakenings, and Goodfellas. You didn't like any of these?
