Hi, My wife e-mailed DS-3032 form and received automated response.

What do I expect next?

Do they respond to her by e-mail sayiny they accept choice of agent,

or do I just call the automated line next Tuesday to listen for an update.

Thanks once again, it's just a simple step, but it's where we are at! (anxiety).

Also, for Bangkok, after reading , I'm not clear on :

As agent, i need to collect original documents to send to NVC,

such as birth certificate. But, then on the Embassy page they say applicant must bring original documents

to interview,,does that mean certified copies??

When you enter the case nubmer to generate the barcode for AOS and other stuff. Does a person enter the case # only, or are there any dashes?

Such as :

ABC1234567890

ABC-123-456-7890

Which one is the correct method to generate the bar code?

Check out the DOS link for your embassy to find out the list of documents that you will need to send for your wife to the NVC.

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3176.html

Also, the NVC should reply to your wife's e-mail within 1-2 weeks, if not, check with them again to see what is going on.

You need to enter the case number exactly how the NVC reads it back to you, letters and numbers, no dashes.

First please follow MONONOKE28 advice and then follow NVC instuctions.

I don't know if this is the case but USA embassy at Warsaw, Poland switch from Standard to Appointment Processing back in October.

As of today their official webpage gives misleading instructions so I decided disregard those and only talk to the live opreators in NVC and Warsaw.

Good luck with the rest of your process.

Thank You,,both for the info.

I believe that is the case. A switch from

standard to appointment.

So, if it is appointment, i assume i need originals

(my wife will mail to me), and she uses copies??

Yes you are correct, you will need originals to send to NVC.
