HI my fellow March Filers......!!

I have a question??!! what's the average wait time to get an AOS interview after filing?? (married to a USC) file date March 26th arrived at Chicago Lockbox on the 28th. My husband is in the Army and will be deployed August 1st and I want to know if I would get the AOS interview b4 he goes he'll be gone for 15 months ......

Not sure if I can go to the interview without him and if I do they probably deny me on the spot!! Im worried at this point because I know he wont be here when that time comes.

Any advise will surely help....

All you would have to do is show his deployment papers, I believe you make an Infopass appointment, have heard you may be approved without interview....

All you would have to do is show his deployment papers, I believe you make an Infopass appointment, have heard you may be approved without interview....

do I make an infopass appointment before I get the interview letter or after???....not sure!!

someone kinda told me the same thing about his deployment papers and letter from his chain of command but I'm still worried about this whole thing especially when I have no knowledge about my suituation but I think I'm gonna make an appointment and go to the JAG office here on post and see what they can tell me about my suituation and what my options are!!!!

Just thought I'd let everyone know that our I-485 was touched today first time since biometrics. Nothing seems to have changed though :\

A quick update:

My AOS was touched yesterday again. No other updates. It says it is pending at the office it was transfered to and that they will let me know when a decision is made. This is the third time it is touched after the transfer to California. It was touched on the 11th, 13th and today. ( I think they work on sundays )

No touches on AP or EAD yet, even after biometrics.

Congrats to you all who had your case resumed after RFE!!! Keep the faith!

At least they've touched yours We have the same timeline and mine hasn't been touched or transferred

No worries Elmira..it took a week after they received my RFE to get the **resumed processing** e-mail.apparently it doesn't put us back much (I know even a minute further back seems like forever!) keep your chin up!

Thanks! Anyway, just go to the USCIS web site (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/registercustomer.jsp) and register to open an account that will enable you to track your case status. Then, add your receipt numbers to the portfolio. After doing so you will be able to receive email updates on your cases. That's how easy it is! Good luck girl!
