Good evening ladies :)

On 7.45 a.m I called to NVC(keep in mind 2.45p.m at Poland) to confirm the reason of my recent RFE.

AND

probably because the operator(lady)souds sleepy I got some information.

She told me as soon as they received mail from S. Louis facility( if one's got RFE) they TRY to rewiew it ASAP.

I really wish it were truth.

I honestly don't know in which point they cash checks. I only know coresponense between two facilities may takes up to 10 days.

I think, the cash the check in their MO facility and enterted into NVC computer system. After that, NVC in NH sends further corresponding packet (I-864, DS 230 packet). This is what they told me.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

I really think that the lockbox payment processors empty the P.O. Box once a week, then spend the next week going through the envelopes rejecting or depositing the checks, and then at the end of the week they mail a package to NVC with all the payment coupons (including handwritten substitute coupons for those few payments where the barcoded coupon was not included), and once that package arrives in NH, the coupons are scanned or entered into the system to post the payment to the case.

Maybe they work a little faster in St. Louis at times or depending on volume, I don't know. That's how I think it works, anyway.

I just called and got the same missing message (I called on monday and they said everything was fine with my I-864 packet). there was one difference in this message and that was the date they sent the letter...the first time it said letter mailed the 22nd and this time it said the 23rd. now I dont know what difference it makes. as far as me sending the ds-230 right now I am having to wait for a couple of documents from my hubby. he needed to renew his passport and his pcc had expired. he will mail these to me next week and i will receive them in 10-12 days after that (I am looking at 3 weeks now in order to send out the ds-230...so much for doing this shortcut <_< ) at least I saved a bit of time with the others to make up for this.

I am really happy for you to know that it was received and you are still rolling. my turn will come soon

Hi indianheart,

For how long is the PCC valid? I'm going to need one for my wife in Baroda(Gujarat, India) and was wondering whether she should get it now or not.

Thanks for your reply!
