Yes, an NOA2 for an I-130 that says the case is being forwarded to NVC means you are on the CR1 track. Time to study James' Shortcuts for NVC because it can take 5 or 6 months the long way. Google is your friend.

YEP, that means that now you have to go with the CR1 visa. It usually takes 3 months at the NVC and then your application will be forwarded to the embassy. This means that your K3 application has been cancelled. What was the filling fee when you filed your I130?

Hello pushbrk,

I have a mystery for you to solve. What about if both my I-130 and my I-129F say they are being forwarded to the NVC? What does that mean? They were approved simultaneously on Jan. 9, but as of yet, neither one has made it to the NVC.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Deb

Who knows where it which one will end up at NVC. When my I-130 was approved, my NOA2 said it was sent to NVC. But it wasn't. My I-130 was approved before my I-129F. Then my I-129F was approved and this was the petition forwarded to NVC, and our appointment for the K3 has been scheduled for my husband on March 3rd.
