We received the biometrics appointment today. Actually we received two notices...one for the 485 and one for 765. One appointment is at 2pm and one is at 3pm on a Saturday.

Questions:

1. Is this normal to recieve a seperate biometric notice for both 485 and 765?

2. Is it a good sign that we received the biometrics appointment relatively quickly?

Found out via online case status that case was transferred to CSC..

Today had another update...The case status shows

"Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. "

Does this mean its transferred from CSC to the local office?

@ Anthony Julie: same on my bio letter, doesn't mean they couldn't update that since they changed their rules in the interim.
Is that mean that I am going to receive another bio appointment anytime soon? I've noticed too that after my bio, got touches from USCIS on the same date for AOS and EAD but not for AP..

Hi, I also received this email. I think it is just in the California office, and we just have to sit and wait until they send an approval, or I guess if they need something else! I think it's the standard processing email they send, I think I got one for my K1 Visa as well.

08/06/2007 NOA-2, 118 days from the 1st notice.

10/24/2007 Interview in Moscow, visa approved

12/06/2007 Entered at JFK, got EAD stamp.

01/25/2008 Married in St. Augustine, FL

02/19/2008 AOS package mailed

09/30/2008 AOS interview - APPROVED!

10/11/2008 Green card in the mail

can you please add me to the list for february. i filed for my AOS on feb 14. i got my noa for both 485 and 765 on feb 21 my biometric is 3/11 at 12.

what do they do exactly at biometrics besides take pics for EAD and finger prints. i know we need to take his photo id but anything else we need to do beside be early?

10/17/05 Answered email from him asking to talk

10/20/05 First time talking on hotmail msn

2/5-15/06 First visit, love his family celebrated my 20th birthday there

6/15- 7/15/06 stayed at parents house again in Morocco got engaged

10/16/06 got a good job so I had to wait to see him again

1/14-28/07 went to see him again for the last time in Morocco

2/8/07 happy birthday to me and I sent the papers for K-1

2/12/07 NOA1 for K-1 visa

2/28/07 NOA2 For K-1

3/1/07 sent to Visa Center

4/15/07 interview

STUPID TERRORISTS RUINED THE INTERVIEW DATE

waited for 2 months of nothing

6/5/07 interview

6/10/07 got visa

6/26/07 came to america
