Congratulations on the job Miles! It'll be nice to be able to do your own thing and have your own money and be able to hrlp out with household expenses :) - plus, staff discounts are awesome!

I've been applying for just about anything too, for a couple of months now. All I seem to be getting are sales jobs. I went for one interview and it's just sooo not me. I don't want to drive to people's houses and convince them to buy extra health insurance.... anyways I just had an interview for a job I want and the lady said she really liked me and I'll definitely have a second interview so let's hope!

Where does everyone look for jobs? I'm looking in the paper, Monster, careerbuilder and craigslist, am I missing anywhere awesome?? :)

All the best in your driving lessons, prior coming here, I've never driven before, and my husband taught me how to drive from scratch. It was an interesting experience that we will treasure.

I was learning with learner's permit for about 2 months. And the weird thing is when I had my exam, I thought I didn't do well, but thank God, I passed and got the license.. A week later I had an interview with the local government here, and got this job that I am currently working now!! The best part is my job requires me to be outdoor a lot, so the government gave me a state-owned car to drive too..hehe..I was thankful because I really got to practise more and more, and now I am definitely a more defensive driver.

Have fun learning!!
