The South Shall Rise Again!

I guess my confederate flag tattoo and klan hood just give me right away as a southerner.

Shopping at Target makes me feel American. What's more emblematic of our national character than the act of stuffing a cart with marked down items I don't completely need, made in developing nations (not all of them with very high labor standards) and scanned for me by employees who are not allowed to unionize?

But I'd never want to do it at Wal-Mart. It's dirty and gross in there. Give me the shining and spacious aisles of a Target...at least one in the suburbs.

Why would you buy stuff you don't need?

Because I was born and raised in the U.S.A. Don't you know the rule at Target? If you think you'll just grab one thing, get a basket. If you think you're shopping for a basket of stuff, get a cart.

I've been in all 4 Walmarts in Peoria area and they all were clean, spacious , well lit and organized. The salesladies and clerk there are all helpful and friendly. The Target store here has less of a selection, higher prices than the items I bought in Walmart and what they have there is the very same brands coming from the very same countries.

I am satisfied doing shopping in Walmart. :)

The wal-mart where I live is a place where illegals go for free daycare. They go to the toy dept. and drop off their kids. I was there with my boys the other day, they wanted to spend their gift cards and the toy dept. worker was so pissed off about it.

Really,where do you live ?

Where I live it's BJ's and Sam's wholesale club.

I will gladly pay more to support my local business than get a "bargain" at the expense of creating more Wal-Mart minions. That's not giving my money away, that's investing in what's right.

Very true! This one ain't shopping there!

It's your money. Give it away if you want. As for me I like being a Wal-Mart zombie.
