I have been working out of town (to save money so I can be with Mai Anh for her interview), and I haven't had internet service. I got home tonight and checked my email, and by golly, there it was! The approval! I couldn't believe it! Thank God, that's a lot of tension lifted.

You and me have the same approval's day and same country where we will go. Congratulations on your approval. Your package and mine will send to NVC and US consulate same time (maybe). Keep in touch, we may have the same week interview 'who knows'. :-). No matter what, I will be there in 1 week before my fiancee has an interview. Good luck to your journey, and all the best to you.

Wow, now we've got a HCM number as well. Maybe things are working out better than I thought. I just received photos from Tet holiday, and Mai Anh is looking quite beautiful, moreso than I remember, but cold. I guess this is an exceptionally cold winter in Hanoi. Central heat is a wonderful thing that doesn't exist in Vietnam. Everyone is wearing coats inside!
