Well today we checked the USCIS website and it stated that my wife's case has been approved!! My god, we are so happy!

Her case was transferred to CSC on december 26th and was approved yesterday..

I want to thank all of you for your help and support and patience with all of my dumb questions..This website has been a huge blessing and made the process doable without a lawyer, which I didnt think was possible til I found this site..

Thanks again VJ members!!!

Thanks again everyone! and VJ DOES rock!

Yet after my wifes approval I still have yet another stupid question lol...

On the forum for "traveling and working prior to green card", I posted a topic on booking an airline ticket and whether my wife should use her maiden name or her married name on the ticket. Now since it looks as though her greencard will most likely arrive by the time she leaves, does that change the situation? which form of ID should her name match? Since her passport is in her maiden name, Im guessing the ticket should match it exactly, and she should carry a copy of our marriage certificate to verify the married name on the greencard, am I correct?

I will soon, I regret not doing it sooner but my computer has some sort of bug and shuts off all the time and the less actions I perform, the better..As soon as I get it running smooth again, I'll update it..

Yes, book the ticket in the name that is on the passport, and carry the marriage license to show the name that is reflected on the green card. And Congratulations!
