Just want to thank every one of you VJ'ers for helping Chels and I get through this horrific and Loooooooong process! I went to my interview this morning in London, and I was APPROVED!

Hopefully i'll be in California by the end of next week!

I am happy for you!!!

But sad for me!!! My husband had his interview December 11th and his name and security checks are still in Administrative Processing.

Thats crazy. Why is his name being checked? Surely they do that kind of thing when you first send off the petition! Sorry to hear that, but it sounds typical of the US Government doesnt it?

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
