We just started this process; I have questions about #18... What exactly did you put there? Just dates, when you met or your entire love story? Can any one give me example, please? It will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

We wrote a simple synopsis of our relationship, i.e. how we met, when I visited, etc. Nothing overly detailed or elaborate. It was about 3/4 of a page.

Just the facts. Ours was: who introduced us, the date and where (my aunt's house). End of story.

No need for lovey dovey stuff

All we put on ours was when he came to see me and when I went to see him, with dates of arrival and departure. That was it. Was three lines long, all fit in that box.

I kept it short and to the point. I wrote, "Met in person from Sept.3, 2006 to Sept.10, 2006 after communicating for months over the internet."

Like everyone else we left out the lovey dovey stuff.

I'd say that my "letter" was a couple of paragraphs. I gave the date and place of where we met, how long I lived in Brazil, and gave dates/length of stay for my trips back.
