I was wondering if anyone has a baby when you just come to the U.S.? And how much it was...because I will have to solely support her with a low paying job, perhaps with little insurance. Would there be help from the government after she stays here for 2 years...

Someone more knowledgeable might have something to say, but I think she will be eligible for some program they have for medical care for the baby, and prenatal care too if that's relevant.

Heck I have two jobs, and one of them is a very good paying job, relatively speaking. But, I'm a single mom who wants to pay off debts BEFORE getting remarried. Well, and plane tickets to Germany can be pricey

Anyway, to the OP, yes you can qualify for state insurance for the baby and possibly for some type of assistance.
