I am a US citizen. We were directed to the line for non-citizens. The man at the counter took my spouses fingerprints and photo, scanned her Nicaragua passport and asked if she had the sealed envelope from the embassy in Managua which she had. He then walked us over to another immigration window where the second immigration worker opened the envelope, quickly reviewed the documents inside along with the summary page that was on the outside and said "Welcome to the US" with a smile. I asked him if he wanted to see my passport and he said no, "You're good to go." I thought it was rather odd that neither of the workers bothered to look at my passport or any Identification, no scan of my passport, nothing at all. So I guess I was sort of informally re-admitted to the US! Both workers were polite, business like and brief. Entire process took about 7 minutes.	2020-12-10
