Check....is that what you're was?  Makes me nervous since I've had mine returned twice already!

Yes, it was a personal check. The form did say it would convert it to an electronic payment or something like that. Does your bank show pending transactions? Not all do so you may not see it until end of the business day.

Yes, you can file previous year tax. You can either do it yourself or go to any tax office and ask to file previous year tax. After filling 3-5 days, you can create an online account at IRS and order a tax transcript.

Ok thank you.

Are we suppose to send in tax transcripts for ROC?

or can we send the tax return PDF we get after e-filing? the one that has form 1040ez.

Tax transcripts are recommended. You can send 1040/1040EZ, just includes your W2/1099 just in case.

USCIS instructions doesn’t actually specify or recommend tax transcripts. It simply says tax returns, but transcripts are the best way to show them that you did file your taxes since those are coming directly from the IRS. I called my pre-paid legal service and spoke with the same immigration attorney that helped me get through the CR1 process and the process to get my husband’s name corrected on his GC. He said if I don’t have my transcripts then I can send in our 1040 with our W2s, the email we got stating our returns were accepted by the IRS (I got an email since I used TurboTax) and a copy of our bank statement showing the IRS refund deposit. So I sent all of that. Fingers crossed it works with no RFE.

If you are able to download the tax transcripts, you should.

Would you mind giving a list of evidence you have submitted with your package?

Do you think its a good idea to save up more evidence while our application is pending, in case we do get a RFE? Stuff we dont have like joint credit cards?

Sure is!  How long did u wait for NOA?

They received the package on 4/5, NOA was dated 4/6 (Friday) and it was in today's mail. So exactly a week from when they got the package. I'm guessing it probably didn't hit USPS until Monday though.

Regular mail. And yes, the first line of the NOA is the extension notice.
