AOS June 2017 Filers!

I've been so sad and depressed. Submitted first in may ...it was rejected for using outdated i-130... I filed the new i-130 and submittedon may 30th.. they got it on June ist. I am just now finding out there's another i-130a instead of g325a  so I might  be rejected again.. I'm beyond stressed

.. I've been through so much i just want this to be  done  with so I can live life in full.  So now I'm waiting for another rejection or possibly NOA/RFIE I'll very much prefer the latter

Hi Everyone!

We sent our I-130, I- 485 ans I-765 to the Chicago Lockbox. We sent it end of May so I guess we're a June filer now!

 

Here's our timeline:

05/30/17 - Sent package to USCIS Chicago Lockbox

05/31/17 - Package received and signed by a J C at USCIS

06/06/17 - Received text messages and email for I-130, I-485 and I-765

06/08/17 - Checks shown as cashed

I received 3 paper NOA today for I485, I765, & I131!!! Yayy!!!

 

I'm not too worried about the processing time for I-485, I'm anxious for the EAD I765! My husband is getting depressed sitting at home doing nothing. He is anxious to work and get out of the house while I'm at work.

Hi! I heard that some get away with filing with G325A instead of I-130A when IOs don't notice. Let's hope for the best. Good luck!

Getting a little worried we haven't received e-notification

 

Package sent- May 30th

Package received at the Chicago lockbox- June 2nd, 2017.

 

From what I've been seeing on the forums, it's usually a one to two weeks process. My husbands student OPT card expires June 29th. Does anyone know if he is able to work while he waits for his new card?

Did you submit form G1145 with ur application? Usually for me its takes like 4 days to get an email from USCIS letting me know my case been accepted. I received my email and text notification for our AOS forms and also when we submited the I129F petition, both notifications received after 4 days of received date.

Nope, nothing in the mail yet! From what I'm hearing from other people, it may take up to a month. Hoping we get it sooner than later though (:

Hi! May filers got their e- notification after three weeks. Don't lose hope just yet! I know it can be a stressful not hearing from them so you can try calling just to make sure.

 

As for your husband's work, I am not sure but you may try to request to expedite his renewal if you rely on his income for your household.

I am so happy to find the AOS group for June. 

 

We just got married last Friday and we are ready to submit our AOS packet (just waiting for the marriage certificate). 

 

I've been working for almost a decade when my partner petitioned me and I feel very anxious not being able to help out financially. I hope it will not be a long wait to get my EAD.

awww congrats you two. I just got here last Saturday and is currently processing our marriage certificate. we have no final date yet of the date though. Let us know how it goes with your AOS application. If i have a question with ours, is it ok if send you a message ?
