From what I was told by a supervisor is that after CC it could take up to 30 more BUISSNESS days to get an interview date..That means DO NOT count Saturday and Sunday. So you are at 30 days now but not 30 buisness days.. You should hear something withing the next week or two...Hope this helps...

Don't believe anything these NVC reps and supervisors say. They'll say anything to get you off to phone and to excuse the delay. If you call five NVC reps you'll get five different answers to the same question. Some are told 30 business days, others 30 days. Some embassies take longer than others to have in interview booked with.

I found a communique from a meeting between NVC officials and AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association) where it states that interviews are scheduled twice per month with the embassies. Which is obviously a ball they've dropped now after the technical issues they had with not being able to print visas.

Never mind that question. It was apparently a website error. Looked again and now it's back to saying....at NVC. So upsetting and confusing!

The person I spoke to at NVC on August 11th told me, "We're so backed up, you wouldn't believe it if you could see it. I couldn't give you any kind of time frame for anything right now."

My husband finally got hold to a supervisor few days ago after countless times of trying...

Sadly... The supervisor said she couldn't review the case for us because she didn't have it physically on the desk.

she said she's not even the one who's in charge of our case.

she is aware that the 42 days of DS260 review is due and promised us that she would try to find out why and what is actually holding the case up.

Guess we are just VERY unlucky...

I'm so depressed right now :(

As far as I know, after NVC completes your case, it sends it to your embassy and its up to the embassy to give the interview date when they are available. And it's not necessarily within 30 days. It really depends on how busy your embassy is. I think.....:/

I wouldn't believe what NVC says, after reading here what people were told. It's something else everytime you call and speak to a different person.

You just have to be patient. Keep your hopes up! Soon it's our turn for CC and go on to the next step!
